Terms of Service

1. Who we are

CultCode ("CultCode," "we," "us") operates cultcode.dev, a hand-curated online directory of projects built by indie makers. CultCode is operated by an individual proprietor based in India. By submitting a project or otherwise using cultcode.dev, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. The service

CultCode sells one-time, paid project listings. You submit a project, pay a one-time fee, and we manually review the submission for inclusion in the directory. We currently offer two listing types:

• Standard listing — ₹499, one-time payment.
• Featured listing — ₹1,999, one-time payment, with additional placement.

This is a digital service. Nothing is physically shipped, and there is no recurring subscription — each listing is a single, one-time purchase.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to submit a project and make a payment on CultCode. You are responsible for any information you provide during submission and for maintaining access to the email address you submit with.

4. Submission rules

By submitting a project, you represent and warrant that:

• All information you provide (name, project details, links) is accurate and not misleading.
• You own the project, or you are authorized to represent and submit it on behalf of its owner.
• The project does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property or other rights.

The following content is prohibited and will be rejected or removed:

• Anything illegal under Indian law or the law of your jurisdiction.
• Malware, phishing tools, or anything designed to harm users or systems.
• NSFW, sexually explicit, or adult content.
• Deceptive crypto, forex, or other financial schemes, including projects designed to mislead users about risk or returns.
• Affiliate spam, link farms, or projects that exist primarily to manipulate search rankings.

5. Payment and review

Payments are processed via Razorpay, and you may pay using UPI, cards, or netbanking. Submissions are manually reviewed, typically within 48 hours of payment. If review takes longer than 72 hours, you receive an automatic full refund. Approval is not guaranteed — paying the listing fee buys a serious review, not a guaranteed spot in the directory.

6. License to display submitted content

By submitting a project, you grant CultCode a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and adapt the content you submit — including your project's name, tagline, description, and images — in the directory, in generated social cards (such as OG images), and in promotion of the directory. You retain all ownership of your content. This license survives until your listing is removed from the directory.

7. Our right to reject or remove listings

We may reject any submission at our sole discretion, for any reason, including but not limited to the prohibited content listed above. Once a listing is approved, it is intended to be permanent. However, we reserve the right to remove a live listing at any time if the underlying project turns into spam, is found to contain malware, becomes a dead or broken link, or otherwise violates these Terms. No refund is owed for removal of a listing that has been live for more than 30 days.

8. No guaranteed outcomes

We do not guarantee any specific amount of traffic, clicks, signups, search engine ranking, or other business outcome as a result of your listing. CultCode is a curated directory, not a marketing or advertising service, and results vary project to project.

9. Limitation of liability

CultCode is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CultCode and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the listing giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of CultCode after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of CultCode will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
